My intricate hand-cut collages are made from vintage gardening encyclopedias, botanical field guides, and seed catalogs. Flowers and leaves from these sources reassemble to form lush, supra-natural compositions with an emphasis on color.

I use my work as a conscious exercise at joy and devotion, driven by an interaction between swelling, romantic emotion and sustained, meditative attention to detail.

I’m also a mom to a young son, wife to my high school sweetheart, and an archivist by trade. I live and work in Austin, Texas.
